PolypAI Terms of Service

Welcome to PolypAI, your smart AI assistant for aquarium care. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of PolypAI (“we,” “our,” or “us”) and our services, including our website, applications, and any AI-powered tools we provide.
By using PolypAI, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. Eligibility
To use PolypAI, you must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country). You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current information when creating your account.
2. Account Registration
When registering for PolypAI, you will be asked to provide information including:

- First Name and Last Name
- Country, City, ZIP code
- Email Address
- Password and Password Confirmation
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for any activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to share your account or login credentials with others.
3. Beta Disclaimer & AI Advice Limitation
PolypAI is currently in BETA. This means the platform is under active development and may contain bugs, inaccuracies, or incomplete features. While we strive to provide helpful information, the AI-generated responses are for informational purposes only and do not constitute professional aquarium advice.
By using PolypAI during this beta period, you acknowledge and agree that:
- The AI may occasionally provide incorrect or incomplete suggestions.
- All actions you take regarding your aquarium, livestock, or water chemistry are done at your own risk.
- You should verify any critical or health-related decisions with a qualified aquarium expert or veterinarian.
We expressly disclaim all liability for any harm, loss, or damage (including to animals, systems, or equipment) that may result from the use of PolypAI’s advice or recommendations during this beta period.
Your participation helps us improve — and we appreciate your understanding and feedback during this stage.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse PolypAI. You will not:
- Use the service for unlawful, harmful, misleading, or fraudulent purposes.
- Impersonate any person or provide false information.
- Attempt to access or reverse-engineer the underlying code or AI model.
- Interfere with the operation or security of the platform.
Violation of this section may result in account suspension or termination without notice.
5. User Content and Tank Data
As part of your experience, you may input details about your aquarium system, including livestock, tank chemistry, equipment, preferences, and setup information (“User Content”).
By submitting this information, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it to:
- Improve our AI model and platform functionality
- Analyze trends, behaviors, and preferences across users
- Share aggregated and anonymized insights with third parties, such as manufacturers, brands, or researchers, to help them better understand user needs and common questions in the aquarium hobby
We will never share your personal information (such as your name, email address, or any data that directly identifies you) with third parties without your explicit consent.
6. Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. We collect and use your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which outlines what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
By using PolypAI, you consent to our data practices as described in that policy.
7. Intellectual Property
All content and technology on PolypAI — including the AI model, website design, logos, and branding — are the exclusive property of PolypAI or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, reverse-engineer, or use our content without written permission.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the platform at any time for violations of these Terms or for any reason at our sole discretion.

10. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. If changes are material, we will provide notice (e.g., via email or the platform). Continued use of the platform after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the owners of PolypAI are located. Any disputes shall be resolved in a competent court within Europe or the United States, depending on the primary location of the user or platform administration.
We reserve the right to update this section upon formal business registration.
